🎯 Learning Goals / Objetivos del aprendizaje:

• Learn how to play the low notes on the recorder: F, E, D, and C./ Aprender a tocar las notas graves en la flauta dulce: Fa, Mi, Re y Do.

• Improve breath control and finger coordination for more complex fingerings./ Mejorar el control del aire y la coordinación de los dedos para digitaciones más complejas.

• Practice melodies using all fingers of both hands./ Practicar melodías usando todos los dedos de ambas manos.

📌 Step 1: Posture and Technique / Paso 1: Postura y técnica

• Sit up straight and hold the recorder at a 45° angle./ Siéntate derecho y sostiene la flauta en un ángulo de 45°.

• Keep fingers curved and close to the holes./ Mantén los dedos curvados y cerca de los agujeros.

• Blow very gently — low notes need slow, steady air./ Sopla muy suavemente — las notas graves necesitan aire lento y constante.

📌 Step 2: Fingerings / Paso 2: Digitación

🔸 F / Fa

• Cover the back hole (thumb) and holes 1 to 6 (left hand + right index)./ Cubre el agujero de atrás (pulgar) y los agujeros del 1 al 6 (mano izquierda + índice derecho).

🔸 E / Mi

• Cover the back hole and holes 1 to 5 (left hand + right hand: index and middle)./ Cubre el agujero de atrás y los agujeros del 1 al 5 (mano izquierda + índice y medio derecho).

🔸 D / Re

• Cover the back hole and holes 1 to 6./ Cubre el agujero de atrás y los agujeros del 1 al 6.

🔸 C / Do grave

• Cover all holes: the back hole and holes 1 to 7./ Cubre todos los agujeros: el de atrás y los del 1 al 7.

👉 Tip: Make sure all holes are fully sealed to avoid squeaky sounds./ Consejo: Asegúrate de sellar bien todos los agujeros para evitar chillidos.
